Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

stratton mountain

finds documents containing 'stratton' or 'mountain'

stratton or mountain

same as above

stratton and mountain

finds documents containing both 'stratton' and 'mountain'

holmes not stone

finds meets where 'holmes' competed, but 'stone' did not

(holmes not stone) and stratton

finds meets where 'holmes' competed, but 'stone' did not, and stratton is mentioned

wv*

finds documents containing words starting with 'wv' (such as 'wv' or 'wvbbts')
