bulletFeb 04, Mt Snow

There was a scoring error this Saturday that affected the award of medals (but not the actual scores sent in to USSA). The affected athletes can get their replacement medals. If you have any questions, feel free to email Thach Pham:

Please be advised that the combined scoring for Saturday's event was initially erroneously scored based on the competition cut scores as opposed to the best of score from the two runs (scorer error by a late replacement rookie). After correcting for this error, a number of athletes have moved up in the top ten overall rankings as well as the top three rankings by age group as follows:

  1. Katherine Dimascio (Killington) moved from 17th to 5th overall
  2. Colin Lang (Hunter) moved from 8th to 5th overall and from 3rd to 2nd in M4
  3. Max Pollinger (Mount Snow) from 7th to 6th overall
  4. Darius Baradaran (Killington) from 9th to 7th overall and from 4th to 3rd M4
  5. Crosby Taymore (Killington) from 11th to 10th overall

There are also a number of other moves that do not affect medal awards. The corrected overall scores and ranking will be sent to USSA so the error will not impact season rankings.

bulletFeb 02, Killington Klassic HP, Killington VT

It seems as though if we were to move HP to another day this weekend, there is no lodging available. And seeing that we are still uncertain as to when Killington’s half pipe will open, the Organizing Committee has opted to cancel the half pipe. Sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused: We were merely trying to do what was best for the athletes by trying to make it happen.

The mogul venue is open and ready for training tomorrow and competition this weekend.
